Villa is lovely. Gardens surrounding yard are lush and beautiful

This villa is perfect for a few days in the heart of Las Terrenas. It's just tucked away enough that you can get a solid night of undisturbed sleep but close enough that you can easily walk to anywhere in town in a few minutes. The manager was very responsive and helpful. Just bear in mind that you aren't going to get anything fixed on a Sunday in the DR. We had a bit of a clogged drain in the shower, it wasn't a big deal in the end, so that doesn't impact my rating at all. The villa is comfy and well ventilated, even in the middle of the sunniest day. Highly recommend!

The property (especially the lodging itself) was very nice and the grounds were very pleasant. It was spacious and airy and reasonably private. The Pool was a big plus. What was not so great was the road noise just outside the gate and often times there were very load (to the point of obnoxious) neighbors. Also, the condition of the road to access the property was horrible do to heavy rain, erosion and just poor construction. We experienced a 36 hour power outage, the hot water heater failed a couple times during our stay and the internet failed. Most of these issues were resolved in a reasonable timeframe. We stayed 7 weeks and sometimes expectations are different than with shorter stays. The excess noise was the most aggrevating issue.
