It was all lovely

The location of the studio apartment (#2) was a block and a half walk from the main street/Mall in Leura. Woolworths was a block away as were many great coffee and breakfast spots. So easy to grab a few bits and eat in or wander up and grab something. I thought our apartment was great. It was Spring and the evenings and mornings were still cool. There were electric blankets on the bed and a decent doona as well as split system heating. Very comfortable The room had a spa bath/shower over and separate toilet. Its a studio apartment and I think fitted out well. Microwave, kettle, toaster and small fridge were enough for us. Our room #2 was at the side/rear of the property and it was lovely and quiet spot, private from the other rooms as well. A table and couple of chairs outside the room caught some sun and shade throughout the day. Lovely spot to sit outside.

The only issue we had was the internet dropped out twice over the four days and we could not connect at all. It was a struggle to get phone reception in this location so we needed the internet for our phone, laptop and to watch the tv. The instructions said if this happened to turn the router on and off and this 9/10 times fixed the issue, however, after searching for the router I had to place a call to Serian Residences. They were lovely, but unfortunately the router lives in another apartment. Luckily, the other guests had just checked in and kindly turned it off and on for us and the internet was back on. The second time it happened, there were no guests in that apartment so Serian Residences had to send someone out to switch it off and on which took a little longer but still reasonable. If this is something that happens regularly then a router really does need to be in the studio, especially when the TV relies on internet to watch and if you were trying to get some work done. Overall, a lovly stay.

The location is great and nice furnishing.

The whole apartment needs a good cleaning. When we arrived floor in the kitchen was full of water from fridge. In the kitchen everything felt greasy and cabinet above range hood was fool of cobwebs. We find infestation of ants in the kitchen, because there were food crumbs in micro-oven and on the floor. The removable covers on sofa and armchair need washing and in the bathroom was mould between grouts on around vanity.
