KUDOS Beach Apartments Jambiani

An exceptional stay from start to finish. We can’t fault it - the staff, location, and service were all top-notch from the very first moment we stepped into our specially decorated flat for our 2 week honeymoon. The breakfast was excellent and consistent every single day. A special shout-out to Laizer the Maasai attendant, who is one of the kindest and most helpful people we have ever come across. Asante Sana!

Nothing at all!

Spacious, comfy, well equipped apartment right on the beach. You can walk along the beach for an hour in each direction. Big comfy bed. Wonderful day bed on the terrace to watch the world go by - mostly sailing boats and beach sellers with an occasional camel! Aircon and a fridge to keep you and the beer cool. Excellent breakfast served on your terrace every day.

Because it's on the beach, sand gets everywhere! Apartment could do with some tlc - cracked floors and wonky doors. Some noise from neighbouring bar and apartments and their dogs. Jambiani was very quiet when we were there Sep/Oct, so everything closed early. However the beach sellers were there all day and quite persistent. Don't expect European-style housekeeping - you have to explicitly ask for anything to get done - although when you do, it gets done with a smile.

The property had everything we needed. Good location. Staff were exceptional. We stayed here for four nights during our honeymoon in Zanzibar. We had our own balcony on the ground floor where we could head out to the beach from. The staff were really professional and friendly. They decorated our room for us as a surprise which was a lovely touch. They made delicious breakfast every day which was brought into our room. The choices were really good with pancakes and fresh fruit as well every morning. Really nice stay. We were even given a gift on departure which was handmade soap to take back with us with a lovely note from the team. Thank you to everyone.

The only inconvenience was the use of Mwezi hotels pool. It’s only four doors down however you had to deposit $15pp to use it which for deducted from any food and drinks. We were fine with this as we had drinks and food during the day but we did meet another couple who wasn’t keen on spending extra to chill by a pool.
