Parking is an issue. If the hotel parking lot is full, only 21 spots, you have to drive down main st to an alley that takes you to a larger parking lot. After you have parked it’s a 5 min walk back up to the hotel. And I mean up. Up a hill or at least 50 stairs depending on what route you are taking. Completing this at 11:00 at night is a little scary if you are all alone. It’s dark, not much city lighting and some questionable people hanging around. My suggestion would be to offer the parking rate of $10 a day and valet your guest cars to the additional parking lot.

The central location of The Postmark was perfect for walking & exploring the historic downtown, nearby parks, trails and exquisite old homes / neighbourhoods of Newmarket. Everything was the complete antithesis of big malls and cookie cutter chain hotels. & motels situated nearby busy highways. The biggest plus were the staff . . . all of them! We received a personable, warm welcome, second to none. Special thanks to servers Laurie and Jessica for our VIP treatment, even though we were first-time guests. The top floor 'penthouse' restaurant, Overlea, was superb on all counts; definitely a must-do dining experience.

Absolutely nothing to complain or fuss about.

Great location and vibe. We had a king bed which was very comfy!

Our room wasn’t heated and had small loud heater on. Also our patio faced the garbage bins and we could see people walking around the back. Not worth paying for patio room.
