Camelia Grove Hotel

Location. Close to daughter’s house

When we arrived at 10:15 pm the code to our studio apartment did not work. Had to find someone to help us. Studio is above the beer garden. Music was playing loudly. At 11:30 pm went downstairs to ask if it could be turned off. Hotel completely locked up and dark. Then rang the hotel. It too three attempts before someone answered and they did they forgot to turn it off which they did. We stayed five nights. In that time room was not cleaned. Bin not emptied, linen and towels not changed. Last night had the music issue again. Went downstairs at 10:45pm in my pyjamas. Hotel op-ed no customers and asked for the music to be turned off. It was. Will not stay again. No contact with staff. Self check in

The beds were the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in away from home :) it had everything we needed and the location was close enough to the city centre without being in the city

There was an odd smell when you opened the main door downstairs..

Spacious, clean and close to most ammenities.

Could not get to sleep until midnight each night due to the downstairs pub noise.
