Kind and comfy elevated hostel experience

The foyer and the staff were lovely, and it was a great place to rest. The location was also very convenient for getting to the station and the main shopping street, all about a 10-minute walk away.

The beds were honestly not comfortable, there was only a duvet and no sheets (so I ended up sweating), and the pillows are quite thin. The air circulation inside of the bunk beds also left my nose very dry in the morning. Other guests are quite easy to hear, and I didn't sleep particularly well, but I can't fault Lemonsea for other guests' behaviour inside of the room. Though, I do wish they had quiet hours within the room so it was well-established with guests when it was appropriate to talk in there.

It’s a really well designed hostel, a lot of thought has gone into the aesthetics and it’s definitely pretty The rooms are big and spacious and with plenty of room to repack your bag They offer a wash and dry service for clothes

It’s not super far away but still a bit of a walk with your backpack You can’t wash your own clothes, you hand them over and they are returned to you. I had a nice convo with the guy working there initially but after an interaction where the conversation made me feel a little uneasy about being a solo female traveller in a quiet area I made a conscious effort to avoid more talks. I know it’s my own experience and maybe I took it deeply, I also I can’t see any reviews to give a similar vibe that people felt uneasy but I think it’s still worth a mention. Nothing very social going on here but got chatting to someone in my dorm and we shared a drink at the bar in the evening
