Cozy Home in Central Millwater

Very clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. Close to everything we wanted to see and do in Orewa, Silverdale and Whangaparaoa. All mod cons with an excellent kitchen, large comfortable beds, nice lounge, large TV and easy access on the ground floor. Really good value for money charged. Hostess was most communicable and helpful via booking.com.

Although advertised as having off street parking which we asked for and were initially advised we had - we were never-the-less told just before arrival to park on the street. It was a quiet and safe neighbourhood but the advertising was misleading and not correct. The Cree wall heater/air-conditioner was difficult to operate even with an instruction book to work with. We finally got it going but then found it impossible to turn off. I would suggest to the host that in future they supply a simple hand written instruction note for us non-technical types to follow.

Exceptional unit - very clean, amenities are good quality, bed was comfortable... the whole place was beautifully presented and felt welcoming after a long day. Appreciate the soft-light lamps, and the coffee machine with strong-brew capsules was heaven for the next morning. Will definitely return if I'm in the area.

Only critique would be there were no curtains for light blocking in the bedroom, but that's just me.

Great facilities and communication.

All good. No negatives
