The property and buildings on the hillside overlooking the Palace of Knossos make up the farm villa and known as Villa Phyllia, with a rich history that spans modern times back to the late nineteenth century and way beyond – land that was the location of the Sanctuary of Demeter -the goddess of earth fertility.

Up to eight guests can be accommodated in simple but comfortable style. Villa Phyllia overlooks the palace; uniquely on a hill to the south, where a constant breeze refreshes even on the hottest days. Well-placed for walking trips that lead directly from the villa. It is set in a large olive grove with many places to sit and chill under shade.
