Airport Diana Hotel

Hotel was very close to the airport and staff provide a free shuttle to take you to the terminal. Food in the restaurant was tasty and quick, plus you can eat upstairs in the fresh air, and there’s a covered area from the rain too. Staff were friendly and even walked me to the local ATM so I knew how to find it. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, good air conditioning and clean. TV was modern so was able to log in to own subscriptions to watch TV and the internet was good and reliable.

Breakfast was a bit confusing, on the menu it states you can have an English or American breakfast however when I went down to breakfast it was a Nepalese buffet style and I couldn’t order anything else. A weird one to complain about but staff were a bit too attentive during food e.g. I hadn’t finished my mouthful/putting my cutlery onto the plate before it was being whisked away and at breakfast they showed you to the buffet and explained it was self service and then when you went to serve yourself they kind of rushed in to serve it for you.

It is the perfect place for airport arrival or departure (5 min walk ... but there is a free shuttle). You can also easely go around in Katmandu. All very good, but over all friendly and efficient staff. They helped me for every necessity with professionality and kindess. Congratulation to the management.

The room was huge and clean. They provided me a family room as the other rooms were already occupied.

I expected Nepali breakfast, but it was western? style. And the choice was limited.

Price was higher than than expected for the room. I stayed in same kind of room for lower price
