Location was great, next to the friends we were visiting in Zurich. Spacious apartment, balcony.

1. Host was in a bad mood or hasty. While he did reply on time, the communication was robotic at best. We wrote to him since a week before arriving about potentially checking in a bit earlier then 15:00, but his anawer was evasive, asking us to contact him again on day of arrival. We did so, but no confirmation, until he just suddenly texted us at 14 that the apartment is ready. We already had the luggages left with our friends in the meantime and we toured the city. He also sent us a note to call him directly, which we did, including whatsapp messages, but no reply. So if you tell somebody “call me” but then you only answer via booking platform, then don’t offer the “call me” option at all. 2. Property had a very small bed, which actually looks ridiculous in that big bedroom. The sofa in the living room is bigger and more comfortable vs the bed (pillows were aoft as feathers, the cheapest ones probably on the market, “complimenting” the tiny and uncomfortable matress). Curtains in the bathroom were dirty on the part facing the bathtub, which inevitably meant it would touch you when inside the bathtub (ugh…). Alternative is to leave the curtain on the side and have water all over the bathroom. In that nice apartment, you could easily install a window panel around the bathtub and not have that hygene issue with the curtain. 3. We stayed 2 nights. On day 2, we asked the host if we could leave/check out at 11:00 instead of 10:00 as were waiting for our friends to pick us up. Same as point 1. Actually this time he told us that “Monday is a busy day and cleaning team will arrive at 10:00 or few mins after”. I replied back “today is Saturday and tomorrow is Sunday when we are supposed to check out, so does that mean that cleaning team will arrive still at 10:00 on Sunday?”. His reply was the same, that we need to be ready to go at 10:00. We were ready at 10:00 and waiting to be asked to leave at any point, but nobody came until we left the apartment at 11:00.

ran out of loo paper - always leave an extra role in the bathroom in case.

Superb positioned near a tram stop which is 14mins from the city centre. The apartment is in a good building and it’s large, light and very clean. Good furnishings and fittings. The communication via booking.com message with Dimi was excellent.

Being on the main road you get the noise but it’s mainly trams with very few cars and no heavy goods vehicles. It didn’t bother myself.
