The house is the street's largest and was formerly the local general store. This means a spacious/roomy house for your stay.

The house boasts four bright bedrooms featuring comfortable beds to sink into after a long day sightseeing. The bedrooms beckon with luxurious beds draped in high-quality linens. We've added personal touches, such as bedside lamps and a large wardrobe, to make your stay even more special.

There is a modern bathroom with an over-bath shower and excellent water pressure. The bathroom is stocked with all essential toiletries. Towels are provided. There is also a downstairs toilet and sink.

The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal during your stay. Whether you're a culinary enthusiast or prefer quick meals, our kitchen caters to all your needs. Some basic cleaning supplies and bin bags will also get you started. The kitchen has a day dining area and French doors to the garden.

From the house, turn left, you can walk along Chester's historic canal. One of our favourites is a walk to the Cheshire Cat Pub…. If that’s too far, stop off in Chester town center, direct from the canal.



From the house, turn right, and you can walk or cycle along the River Dee & into Wales. Again, turning right or left, you can connect to Chester City walls and complete the loop.

✦ Chester Cathedral: This magnificent building is known for its beautiful Early Decorated Choir and the country's oldest volunteer choir. The cathedral often hosts organ recitals and performances like Handel's Messiah during the Christmas season​​.



✦ Chester Roman Amphitheatre: As Britain's largest Roman amphitheatre, this site offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient entertainment and military training. Ongoing excavations continue to reveal more about its history​​.
