Blue Diamond Villa Watamu

The communication before arrival was good, and we received a warm welcome. A special mention goes to Charles, who seems to be the heart of Blue Diamond Villa. He is extremely helpful and plays an essential role in making guests feel welcome. The accommodation was generally clean and satisfactory for a short stay in Watamu.

The breakfast was rather basic and unfortunately served cold. The hotel also seems to operate with very limited staff, with much of the daily service depending on Charles. With a little more attention to breakfast and overall guest service, Blue Diamond Villa could offer a much better experience.

Our stay was wonderful, the place is beautiful and clean and the staff have been amazing to us. The rooms were spacious and always clean, the pool was fantastic and breakfast was well done to our liking. We will definitely be back

Super schöne Unterkunft in Watamu, nur wenige Minuten zum Strand, sehr sauber, freundliches Personal, super Frühstück und optisch ein Highlight mit tollem Pool und weißen Fassaden. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt!

Das WLAN funktionierte im Zimmer nicht, nur in den Gemeinschaftsräumen.

Charles was so friendly and ready to help at a moments notice The house was really beautiful and spacious. The other staff were also very very kind...great hospitality

The level of cleanliness The mosquito net looked like it hadn't been washed for months. They were full of dust and so were the curtain sheers. On entering the room we found used bed sheets which had a certain musky smell. They were changed immediately we asked though. The mattress was very worn out and had a blood stain in the middle. I would have wished to extend my stay but the level of cleanliness is what made us leave early. Very little parking space...wondered how they manage during peak season. The shower area was small and kept flooding...the water wouldn't go down the drain easily. Room did not look anything like the pics. Seems like that is the least used room at the property. Needs proper maintenance.
