🏖️ Beach Access, Please Read Before Booking
We want you to know exactly what to expect so your beach days are easy and relaxing. Topsail Reef sits on the natural, ever-changing north end of the island, where the beach is beautiful but tide dependent right at the community. The community stairs lead directly down to the sand at low tide. At higher tides the water comes up close to the building, so for the widest beach all day long we point our guests to a few nearby public accesses:

🌊 A short walk south at 30-1 Porpoise Place, with more open sand
🚗 A few minutes south by car, three large public accesses with parking, restrooms, and plenty of beach at any tide: Beach Access 1 (1759 New River Inlet Rd, parking and restrooms), 2950 Island Drive, and 484 New River Inlet Rd (both with parking, restrooms, and concessions)
🛶 You can even rent paddle boards or kayaks near the Island Drive access to explore the intracoastal
