De Rain Eco Beach Resort

Our individual chalet was very spacious and comfortable, and the resort is located in nice gardens and within metres of the local beach on Lake Victoria. The manager and staff were very friendly and courteous and the food in the restaurant was very good, We also greatly appreciated cold Nile beer served in an extra cold glass. The resort is also well located just off the main Kampala-Entebbe road within a few minutes' drive of the botanical gardens and Victoria shopping mall.

Food, the cottages and ambiance

Nothing much, everything was great

De Rain Eco Beach Resort was the perfect place to start our Uganda trip. The location is great, close to both Entebbe Airport (only about a 15-minute drive) and the main road, which made our early morning flight super easy. The cottages are lovely, the team is incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was delicious. We can highly recommend the fresh tilapia! Waking up to the beautiful views of Lake Victoria was the perfect way to begin our adventure. Thank you to the whole De Rain team for your warm hospitality. We’d happily stay here again!

The staff were very slow with everything. The breakfast was so underwhelming they should improve a lot.
