Nice location within 5-10 minutes walking to Akureyri downtown. Ample street parking.
The building exterior needs painting.
The unit is updated with flooring, bathroom, and kitchens.
However, it is a basement unit and the entrance to the unit is undesirable. You have to through a short side door and walking down into the basement.

The heater and lamp in the room weren’t working. Contacted the host and did some troubleshooting. We ended up warm enough.

The actual apartment itself was great - updated, had a few dishes for cooking, clean, plenty of space for luggage! The entrance was easy to find, but was a little wonky!
overall, great experience! Super close to everything walking or driving which was amazing.

A hidden gem. The apartment is centrally located in Akeyuri, walking distance to grocery, has free parking and easy access to main roads. Appreciated having kitchen and access to laundry. Lots of room for family of 4. Need to bring your own shampoo/conditioner.

"It was very comfortable and well equipped for 7 of us. It was a 5-10 minute walk into the town centre and a big shopping centre the other way. Lots of parking on the road and it was quiet. "
