Our family of eight thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bonnie Brea house in Vista, CA. Everyone was pleased with their bedroom, we especially liked that the master bedroom had a door to go out on the upper deck. The kitchen was easy to work in, and fairly well stocked. The dining room was big enough for us all to enjoy a family meal, and play games together. The saltwater pool was the favorite feature of our stay, we all enjoyed swimming and sunning around it. The BBQ at pool side was an extra bonus. Our kids walked the hilly mile every morning for coffee; the house is very conveniently located to many amenities. One alert for anyone with knee problems: the house and pool area have many stairs.

Perfect home. A lot of space. It was perfect for our large family of 4 adults and 4 children. The rooms downstairs allowed for separation so we didn’t feel on top of each other.

Good location. Comfy beds. Nice pool, wish the water fall wasn’t on such a limited timer.

This home is big and can host many people. It has great potential to be a great home. Unfortunately our stay was not that great. The home was not clean, had dead spidees on the walls and floor. Paint peeling off the walls and doors. The primay bathroom had a smell. The outdoor furniture was extremely dirty amd worn. I paid extra to have the pool heated and it was never heated. Had to contact the host multiple times. The outside grill was nasty and raggedy. Very disappointed. I sent pictures to the host in hopes they would make changes to make this home great. The host did not want to refund the money for heated pool initially; only wanted to give me a gift card. After pushback I was refunded that portion of the trip.Lastly, the host sent me a message today to give a 10/10 and I will receive a giftcard. I took the approach to not give a review and speak directly with the host but now I feel compelled due to the recent outreach that they will rate me 10/10 as a guest and give a gift card if I rate the stay 10/10. Bad business! Hopefully they took my private suggestions to heart and cleaned up the home.
