Die grosszügige Anlage liegt wunderbar in einer grossen Lichtung eines weiten Waldgeländes. Gemütliche Innen- und Aussensitzplätze liessen uns das Hotel bei jedem Wetter geniessen. das Morgenessen und auch das Abendessen im Hotel-Restaurant waren sehr gut. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Schloss Chambord liegt gleich um die Ecke. Markus

The hotel itself is great, beautiful building and the grounds surrounding it are fantastic for walking, you're in the middle of nature. The pool is beautiful and the rooms are nice, although somewhat small. We arrived around 20:00 for our check in after a long drive, thinking we could have some drinks and perhaps a snack only to find the hotel restaurant to be closed and the hotel almost abendoned - luckily the owner was there who was so kind as to offer to pick up some pizzas for us. The lady at the reception got us two glasses of wine and we made the most out of it! Compliments on how they solved this.

The first night set the tone in terms of the availability of the restaurant, which was closed two out of the four days. We wanted a hotel where our baby daughter could sleep while my wife and I had dinner, sadly we were limited to two evenings and had to sort out something for ourselves the other nights. Would have been nice to know this upfront, especially since there is nothing close by/walking distance and a lot was closed..
