Our vacation home, Casa Sonja—which was newly renovated in 2024—is just a stone’s throw away from our three existing vacation rentals on Georg-Amend-Strasse. It’s named after the cottage’s former owner, who has lived in Italy since the 1960s and finally sold it to us in 2016. “If you turn this into a vacation home, you have to call it ‘Fuchshöhle,’” she told us back then, “because her father’s bowling buddies always called the house that—and before the renovation, there was a drawing of it on the facade.”

The house, with 89 square meters of living space (according to DIN standards), has 4 rooms: 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom, as well as a large terrace on the west side. There is a small garden with herbs, as well as space for bicycles and a car.
The view extends past the large oak tree, over the rooftops to the Haardt Mountains, or across the gardens to the church tower. It’s clear that this place has everything you need to unwind from everyday life for a few days. Of course, we’ll stock your refrigerator with your favorite wines upon request.
