Best Western Tolleson

We came for a concert, location is great. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy but if you're there on a weekend there's a food truck park behind the property that looks great. The hotel was a good deal for the price. A shuttle took us to the concert and a group of guests all walked together back to the hotel. If you don't want to walk there was a lot of taxis and rideshares waiting outside concert. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal, juice, pastries and waffles. Staff was friendly and the property was clean and comfortable.

The neighborhood is a bit rough for walking around.

The staff was amazing and listened to any concerns. The hot breakfast included was a good touch. Pillows were nice and it was clean. Loved that it was so close to the amphitheater. Good price. Loved the full bottles of soaps that are reusable for the rooms.

We did have a non-smoking room, and it definitely smelled like cigarettes and perfume. My husband and I do not smoke. Could definitely hear convos either in the hall or in the room next to us where the head of the bed was against. Bed was super hard.

The location was great! It's nice to be able to get a hotel room within walking distance of a concert venue, and this is one of only a few hotels within walking distance of Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater.

The room service was pretty bad. The food isn't prepared on site, but is delivered by a third party instead. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but nobody notified us when the food arrived, and the food was cold by the time we received it. We won't use the room service again.

Rooms were spacious. Plenty of parking. Price was good.

Room smelled badly of cigarette smoke (reminded me of the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas). Hotel is outdated. Only 2 large towels in bathroom.
