Ci siamo sentiti davvero come a casa nostra, grazie anche alla comodità degli spazi, perfetti per due persone. Il bagno era un po’ piccolo, ma comunque funzionale e più che sufficiente per le nostre esigenze. La proprietaria è stata molto cortese, disponibile e sempre pronta ad aiutarci e a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda. Anche la colazione è stata sempre piacevole: buona e molto varia! Nel complesso, è stata un’esperienza davvero positiva. Ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio per tutta la durata del soggiorno e consigliamo assolutamente questa struttura a chiunque voglia trascorrere qualche giorno in un ambiente pulito, confortevole e accogliente. Ci torneremmo volentieri!

We stayed for 3 nights at Hashem Nubian Guest House and had the best time. Heba was an amazing host and cooked the most delicious breakfasts and dinners. The room was big enough and the beds very comfortable for a multi-night stay. The Winnie The Pooh and Tigger sheets were very cute, and there was plenty of blankets in case we got cold (which we didn't need). With the traditional Nubian style roof, the room stays a nice temperature throughout the day and night. The shower had hot water. Just remember to ask Heba to turn on the water pressure before you shower. There's a rooftop terrace with nice views of the island and the Nile - a great spot for your meals, coffee, or just to relax. On our first night we arrived very late (around 2am) and we still got a great welcome including some hibiscus juice. Heba was also kind enough to do some laundry for us. The guest house is really easy to find on Elephantine Island, and the public ferry from Aswan corniche is convenient and very regular (15 EGP). One morning we organised a day trip to Abu Simbel and needed to back across to Aswan corniche - as the ferry wasn't running so early, we managed to get a private boat for 200EGP for 2 of us. Heba was also willing to help organise this if we needed. Was definitely our favourite place to stay in Egypt. As some of the others have said, it's a reasonably new place hence the lower number of reviews.

Located close to the ferry and the island was quiet. Fridge and kettle for guests to use outside the door of the room. Helpful host who organised her son to take us across to the mainland early in the morning to go on an organised tour.

The room is very small and HOT which made our sleep very uncomfortable! The air-conditioning didn't work! Rooftop is nice but needs a clean. You need to request the water pressure to be switched on in order to shower.

J'ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour dans cet établissement situé sur l'île éléphantine. La chambre est propre et calme avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passé un excellent séjour. La vue depuis la terrasse sur toit sur la ville et le Nil vraiment magnifique. La famille est tres gentille. J'aurai aimé rester plus longtemps. Merci beaucoup pour l'accueil.
