We stayed at Santa Rio Gold Taksim for 3 nights and had a really pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and our room was cleaned very well every day. The location is perfect, right in Taksim and close to the metro, making it very easy to get around Istanbul. The staff were also very friendly, polite and helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the restaurant good food, reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere.
Honestly, we had no major complaints. Everything was well organized and we were very happy with our stay.

Very well located in a central area, with excellent public transport links, friendly staff, and a comfortable bed.
The room and the hotel were smaller than expected, but perfectly adequate for a solo traveller. There was some renovation work taking place during my stay, so the noise was occasionally disruptive. I also found the placement of the TV, curtains, and air conditioning unit slightly inconvenient and uncomfortable to use.

The bed was comfy, toilets were clean and there was a balcony
Walls not soundproof and very thin as you can hear everything, from outside to the next door guests. No breakfast.
