TRASTEVERE PALACE GUEST House

Quartier bien situé

Host molto molto gentile. Stanza comoda e pulita. Ottimi servizi.

Relativamente lontano dal centro (30’ a piedi). Non è stato comunque un problema.

There were no issues with hot water. You simply had to wait around 3–4 minutes for the water to warm up, and after that it was perfectly fine. Complimentary bottled water was provided throughout my entire stay, which was a very nice touch. The host was extremely kind, polite, and genuinely helpful — he checked in daily to see if I needed anything or if I wanted something adjusted in the room. The location is also very convenient: centrally located and close to tram and bus stops, making transportation around the city very easy.

Unfortunately, the room had very thin walls and almost no soundproofing at all. I could constantly hear the guest upstairs walking back and forth in slippers all day long, and it honestly felt like someone heavy was walking right next to me. Noise from the hallway was also very noticeable — conversations, footsteps, and even people entering the house could be clearly heard. Additionally, while the host was cleaning the common areas and talking on the phone, the sound traveled so clearly that it felt as if he was inside the room. I don’t blame him at all — he was simply doing his job — but the lack of sound insulation was quite extreme, making even normal everyday noises disruptive, especially if you are someone who values quiet time and wants to relax.
