The property and its amenities were excellent and its location to Galway’s attractions was great. We walked everywhere and its view over the working harbour was a big plus.
Unfortunately the lift was out of service and while the apartment is on the second floor, there are four flights of stairs for each floor.

It was very spacious and had lots of room for our stuff.
It was advertised as having a washer/dryer. We were expecting that it would since we travelled a lot before Galway. We put our stuff in and it got washed we think, but never dried after several hours. I contacted the owner and got no response. We had to find a laundromat and carry our stuff there.

The directions to the property and how to enter building and retrieve the key were very good and easy to follow. The place was really nice and spacious and in an easy location to get to public transportation, and the ferry landing.
An electric fan would have been great. Ha We happened to be in Galway during a heatwave and it was a bit warm.

The location is unbeatable. On the Docks, incredibly close to the train station, Latin Quarter, Eyre Square, and endless pubs and restaurants.
The place could use some TLC. Bed sheets weren't clean and had black hairs on them, the duvet cover had spots on it, the toilet seat in the bathroom located inside the bedroom was broken and moved when you'd sit down, it also didn't have an actual cover to it.
