The "Retour aux sources" (Back to Basics) gîte, located in the heart of the charming village of Saint Nicolas des Biefs, offers a tranquil escape in the Bourbonnais mountains. In summer or winter, with friends or family, you'll have a wide range of activities to choose from: hiking trails starting right from the gîte, discovering local flora and fauna, swimming and water sports at the Saint Clément lake (11 km away), cultural visits, and local crafts. An inn and a grocery store are conveniently located on the village's renovated square. A second, adjoining gîte for 4 to 6 people will soon be available. This cottage, located in the heart of the village, does not have a garden. However, the surrounding countryside and open spaces will delight you. The griddle and garden furniture are stored indoors from mid-October to mid-April.
