Woodman House is a spacious seven-bedroom property in Egremont, accommodating up to 14 guests across seven double bedrooms.

Its size and layout make it particularly well suited to contractor teams, colleagues and professionals working in West Cumbria, while also providing comfortable accommodation for large families and groups visiting the area for leisure.

Each bedroom includes a double bed and storage for clothes and personal belongings, giving guests their own private space in which to relax. Bed linen, bath towels and hand towels are supplied for all guests.

There are three bathrooms across the property. One features a freestanding bath, while the other two include shower cubicles, making the house practical for larger groups sharing the accommodation.

The spacious living and dining room includes a large sofa, armchair, dining table and TV. It provides a comfortable communal area where guests can eat together, socialise or unwind after work or a day exploring the area. Guests are welcome to sign in to their own streaming accounts where available.

The kitchen is equipped for both short visits and extended stays, with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, cookware, utensils and crockery.

Guests receive a small starter supply of toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, hand soap, kitchen roll, laundry capsules and dishwasher tablets.

Guests have private use of the entire house, including all seven bedrooms, three bathrooms, kitchen, and living and dining areas.

Woodman House is situated in Egremont, a West Cumbrian market town with local shops, pubs, takeaway options and everyday amenities nearby.

The property is particularly convenient for contractor teams and professionals working at Sellafield, Westlakes Science Park, West Cumberland Hospital and other major employers across the region. Its seven bedrooms and three bathrooms allow colleagues to share the accommodation while retaining their own bedroom space.

Egremont also provides a useful base for families and groups exploring the western Lake District and Cumbrian coast. Keswick and the north-western Lake District are approximately 28 miles away, while Windermere and the southern Lake District are around 50 miles away.

Local bus services connect Egremont with Whitehaven, Cleator Moor and other surrounding areas.

Important pre-arrival information

Before check-in, the booking guest must complete identity verification, accept our rental agreement and provide a refundable £200 security deposit through our secure guest portal.

The deposit is processed separately as a card pre-authorisation. It may appear as a pending transaction, but the money is not normally taken from your account. It will only be charged where necessary following damage or a breach of the disclosed house rules or rental terms.

The pre-authorisation is released after checkout when no charge is required. The time taken for the pending transaction to disappear depends on the guest’s bank.
