This charming duplex is located in a small, typical Marais building on the fourth floor (no elevator), a stone's throw from the Centre Pompidou and on the street of art galleries. The building is secure and cozy, with only one apartment per floor. This two-level apartment, with exposed beams, is fully equipped for your comfort: - on the first level, the living room with sofa, open-plan kitchen and dining area; - upstairs, a bedroom under the eaves with a slatted bed (without legs) and a bathroom.

Location was great - loved the neighborhood, very central and easy to get around Paris. The host Joseph was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The apartment was perfect space for our small family. Would stay here again.

The best thing about this property was its central location. It was very clean.
The Expedia listing stated that there were 2 bedrooms: there was one bedroom and a kitchen/living room with a sofa bed. T
The upper bedroom had a bed on the floor and the sloping ceiling allowed little room to sit up.
The bathroom was very, very small with a sloping roof and little headroom making it very difficult to get in and out of the bath. It was impossible to shower standing up.
There were about 80 narrow steps from the front door up a winding staircase and a further dozen once inside to access the bathroom.
All in all,if you're young and fit you may want to stay here but if you're an older person you might want to look elsewhere.
