The Toussaint house is centrally located in the Midcity neighborhood of New Orleans. A culturally rich, colorful and diverse community. Wake up and enjoy breakfast at the Ruby Slipper Popular eatery serving up generous plates of classic breakfast & lunch eats in a homey atmosphere or stop quick and get a iced latte at Coffee science, just a 2 minute walk off the porch. Close to City Park to exercise or visit the New Orleans Botanical Garden, Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, with its antique wooden carousel, and the New Orleans Museum of Art, home to an eclectic global collection and a sculpture garden. Eat dinner at 1 of 3 locally owned delicious restaurants Neyow’s Creole cafe, Soule Cafe and Fharmacy. There’s also a Wholefoods markets .5 mi away. Ready to party, head downtown on canal st. and enjoy beignets and catch lots of beads on Bourbon st. Or if you’re lucky enough to visit on Fat Tuesday during Mardi Gras, grab a drink and walk 10 blocks to the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club. Tall windows fill these rooms with soft daylight, catching the texture of original brick walls and the quiet comfort of a well-kept Mid-City home. The pace here is unhurried - a place to settle in after a day spent wandering nearby streets, with the kind of details that make a stay feel easy rather than staged.

Living space
The living room pairs exposed brick with simple, comfortable seating and a Smart TV loaded with Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video and Samsung+. It's an easy spot to regroup between outings or wind down at the end of the day.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms hold four beds between them, made up with crisp linens and room-darkening blinds for genuinely restful sleep. Closet and drawer space is built in throughout, so settling in for longer stays feels natural.

Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap and the other everyday essentials, plus a hairdryer for getting ready before heading out.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is set up for real cooking, not just reheating - a fridge, oven, cooker, microwave and dishwasher, along with cooking basics, crockery and cutlery, wine glasses, a kettle and a coffee maker. Pour a cup of the provided coffee in the morning, or cook a full meal using what's on hand.

Outdoor living
A covered patio off the back of the house holds seating and a cornhole set, a good place to catch the mild evening air that New Orleans is known for this time of year, whether that's a quiet coffee or a game with the group.

Family-friendly touches
A travel cot, high chair and babysitter recommendations make traveling with young children more manageable, and the single-level layout means no stairs to navigate with strollers or little ones underfoot. Self check-in with a smart lock keeps arrival simple at any hour.

Location
Set in Mid-City, you're about 1.2 miles from the French Quarter and within walking distance of neighborhood cafés, local markets and Trader Joe's, with City Park also nearby. It's a residential pocket of the city that still puts you close to seasonal happenings like Mardi Gras Endymion festivities, Sugar Bowl events, and other festivals throughout the year.
