Cherlynn Resort

Facilities were nice, the boat trip was fun as it allowed to float down the river. Stargazing was possible at night, the location is chilling if you come by car and want a timeout.

The ceiling in the bathroom was damaged. There is some confusion around the uphill path to be used by foot - because one option is supposed to be used by shuttles only (maybe a sign would help). While the boat trip is extremely fun, be prepared for walking barefoot over river stones for re-entering the boat.

The location on the edge of the river with our room floating on the river. Beautifully scenic.

Two things. 1. Water drainage from the shower. I don’t know what the designers of the bathroom were thinking with the bathroom design, but even when you use the shower using reduced water flow the water flows out of the shower up to the bathroom door, then across to the vanity and then down to a small drain behind the toilet. As a result of this if you want to use the vanity or the toilet even an hour or two after the shower is used you are standing in a small amount of water. 2. Whoever cooks the omelettes in the kitchen needs further training. Omelettes are supposed to be cooked right through and not still have liquid / gooey egg in the middle.

The property is new and beautiful. The floating houses sits by itself farther from other floating houses. The staff were polite and very friendly and how the buildings are situated is beautiful.

There are a lot of stairs to get to the floating houses so bringing luggage was a struggle but the staff were so sweet to carry them down to the floating houses and up to the parking lot when we were checking out. At night, the bees love the lights by the door to get into the house so it was kind of scary to deal with the bees.
