Tru By Hilton Bracebridge, On

spacious room; breakfast was good; flexible parking; relatively close to all the places we needed to go to; we got an upgrade to our room

I don't think some of the surfaces were cleaned adequately. There was a stain in the bathroom floor and when I eventually tried to clean it, something black was removed. I could also see spots at the night table that looked like dried spilled liquid.

helpful staff, good breakfast

Ok breakfast, liked the pool

Coffee could be better

The location was perfect. Plenty of parking around the building. Room layout was wonderful- lovely design details and floor plan is ideal. Housekeeping did an amazing job on cleanliness overall.

Unfortunately, mattress was poor quality and sagged without proper support. One of our bed pillows smelt like body odor. The breakfast was terrible. Guests are expected to eat in the lobby, rather than a separate dining area, which was a little awkward. 1. no waffle maker 2. banana was bruised 3. poor quality yogurt - greek yogurt should be offered 4. eggs terrible (maybe frozen or powdered) 5.sausage visually unappealing 6. bagels not fresh 7. cheap quality bread housed in same container as everything bagels - all the breads tasted like everything bagels. Because of this breakfast, we will never return. It was a big selling feature for our choice of accommodation and truthfully, we have had better breakfasts at discount hotels. We expected something of better quality with the Hilton name.
