It was a lovely house to stay in, the space and decor is lovely. The location suited us as we had to stay locally.

While the house was lovely and nicely decorated, it needs a good clean, there are cobwebs, dust and spiders everywhere. Its unfortunate that we had no welcome information or instructions on anything in the house. We eventually contacted the host as we had no control over the heat and on arrival the house was very cold. The host advised that it was managed remotely and he turned it up but it meant that each time we were cold, we had to message to get the heat turned up. Its not ideal. The volume for the TV remained a problem throughout the week also, without resolution and there were no active smoke alarms (all the batteries had been removed) It's a house we would visit again but instructions and freedom to manage the heating would be important.
