Nice and clean, lovely house and hot tub, lovely chilled time we had, other parties in the vicinity was loud and noisy with music playing until after 10pm
Cupboards by cooker were heat damaged and looked unkept unlike the rest of the property

Bedrooms were all well decorated, beds quite comfy, showers and bathrooms very clean and fresh looking.
Nice to be in woods with pathways right outside the door. Hot tub was great, but a bit too hot for the little ones.
The staircase was a very steep angle with strange metal pads in the middle of each step - felt very awkward walking downstairs. The fridge in the kitchen was tiny, not even a shelf in the door to hold bottles. We later found a fridge freezer in the outside utility room (it was locked, so we initially assumed it was a cleaning cupboard!). The settees looked quite tired, recliners didn't work.
Living area was not that big, considering the lodge (Norbury) is for 12 people - not sure how the holiday would have gone if it had rained a lot during our stay We didn't use the outside bbq, as the country was in a heatwave and we were in the middle of a forest!

Location is excellent for Alton and surrounding area, and didn't have any hassle with remote check-in. Met with the friendly girl that cleans the hot-tubs and the guy that does the outside jobs around the estate - really friendly bloke.
Also contacted head office and received replies in a timely manner and really nice replies.
Easy parking outside property.
We came here a long time back and there are now more properties on the estate. It could do with a shop, but I see that they are trying to address this (planning permission).
The welcome pack is online, but it could do with having a physical copy in the property, but I realise this is more admin.
The place is looking a little tired; sofa's have pretty much 'had their day' and aren't working that well, and both bathrooms had locks broken. We were a family so it didn't really bother us. Though have to say the beds were comfortable, and that's the main thing.
