Clean and spacious and a friendly host.

There are approximately 20 stairs leading up to the apartment and there is no elevator, which is important to be aware of if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. There was also considerable noise from the cleaners in the morning, as they were frequently yelling to each other. Because the stairwell is tiled, the sound echoes throughout the building and into the apartment. Unfortunately, there was also a mix-up with my booking. Another guest from a different apartment was mistakenly told by the cleaners to enter my apartment. This was a major inconvenience and resulted in me having to change rooms and spend part of the following day packing and moving all of my belongings. Overall, this significantly disrupted my stay.

Prima appartement! De ligging was erg fijn: Athene is een drukke stad met veel verkeer, maar het appartement ligt in een rustig stuk van de wijk. Daarnaast waren het centrum en verschillende horeca gelegenheden op loopafstand (15/20 min). Qua hygiëne ook prima.

Een tip is om een lampje op de nachtkastjes in de slaapkamer toe te voegen voor wat meer sfeer. En misschien een zitje op het balkon.

The house was clean and tidy, very modern, and there were shower products, a big fridge and a washing machine. Self check-in was very convenient.

There was no bidet in the bathroom 😵‍💫😵‍💫 so I was forced to take a shower every time, having to take off all my clothes!! The shower didn’t have a curtain, so it was impossible to wash without making a mess and flooding the entire floor. There were no instructions on how to turn on the hot water boiler, so I had to take freezing cold showers for the first two days! Only later did I figure out that I had to switch on the power from the electrical panel — absolutely ridiculous! Any elderly or inexperienced guest wouldn’t understand that. Imagine, I was with a 2-year-old child that I had to wash with cold water... And finally, the most frightening part: the street where the house is located was very isolated and dirty, and the balcony window was broken and wouldn’t close properly. I was terrified every night that someone might enter the room from the balcony 😵‍💫😵‍💫... I had to lock myself in the bedroom and had heart palpitations every time I heard a noise! In the afternoon, it was impossible to rest because there were construction workers in the building next door using saws and jackhammers... a nightmare. There was NO television in the bedroom. Coffee machine was broken: it produced only dirty water 🤢.
