Was central and on the route of the dalesway. Was comfortable.
A little dated but was tidy enough.

Very homely. The staff were so lovely and helpful. They changed our room without being asked when they saw that I was walking with two sticks.! The beds were very comfortable and a nice large en-suite for me. The food was very good. Other customers were very friendly as well. Can recommend a stay!
Up a steepish hill from the car park in the square. Not good for me personally. But they can’t help that.

Brilliant location in this extremely popular village. Large en-suite bathroom with nice quality toiletries. Extremely good breakfast included. Good WiFi, sockets by the bed, a good shower and a magnificent view from the room.
There was nothing really to fault, but for £120, a bit more character would be good. The room itself is quite small and the TV needs to be wall mounted so it can be seen from the bed rather than being on a dressing table to one side of it.

The place could do either some money spending on it - run down & tired
