Other things to note
🏠 Older home with character
This is an older Detroit home that has been thoughtfully renovated while preserving much of its original character. Many of the floors are the original hardwoods, which have been restored rather than replaced.
🔧 Renovation notes
As with most older homes, there may be small imperfections that come with age and prior construction. In this home, for example, there is a floor vent in the kitchen that was added during HVAC work and is a bit unusually placed, but it is not expected to be a nuisance during your stay.
🏘 The neighborhood
The home is located in a residential Detroit neighborhood that reflects the city’s character — you’ll see a mix of homes, some more updated than others. This is typical of Detroit. The neighborhood is safe, and guests often comment on how friendly people are.
🚗 Parking
Street parking, with generally ample space available nearby for guests.
Location
Close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit, you’ll find plenty of excellent restaurants, patios, bars, and cafés within a 10-minute drive, making it easy to enjoy meals and drinks out while using the home as a comfortable place to relax and regroup.
Interaction with Guests:
Our concierge will meet guests to quickly say hello upon check-in.

This was a perfect house for our grown kids and grandkids to get together with us for a fun weekend in Detroit. Close to charter fishing, the Detroit Zoo, and Comerica Park. The neighborhood looks a bit rough but the neighbors were pleasant and we felt safe. The living room and dining room were very spacious and easily accommodated our group of 9. Central air on the main floor and window units in the top 2 levels kept us very comfortable. This house was exceptionally clean and well supplied with keurig cups, paper towel, body wash, and plenty of toilet paper. Comfortable beds and nice linens.

The house is HUGE! The owners out a lot of love an attention to this property. They were super accommodating. Derrick is very pleasant and attentive. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to the hospitals and downtown easily accessible. I will be booking with them again!!! Thank you sooo much!
