cRoma - guest house

The property was fantastically positioned for commuting to and from Fiumicino airport (30min) 7 Euro per person when booked online via the SIT bus shuttle which takes you from T3 stand 16 right to the door more or less of CRoma, the stop there is called Rome Aurelia Circonvallazione. Access to local amenities is brilliant too like breakfast (just across the road at Tiramisu' Pasticceria) which was excellent! and very busy/popular. Also very close to the local supermarket Ultramercato and McDonald’s is just over the road if you would like fast food. There are two metro stations placed within 2-3 minutes walk Baldo Degli Ubaldi and Cornelia both on the A line which will get you into central Rome in approx 20 minutes. We thought this location was perfect. You can even walk to Vatican City in less than 30 minutes if you want.

The shower was poor, very slow water flow and not powerful. When walking around Rome sightseeing for a full day in the heat you feel the need for a great shower but this was missing and a disappointment. We can only speak for our room Room 1, hopefully the others are better. The keyless entry system with mobile phone access was a little confusing since the instructions were not personalised to the property. The host could improve the instructions to make this system even better. It is actually a very clever method of entry and it did feel very secure!

El lugar era muy amplio y cómodo. Había café y snacks disponibles, además de aire acondicionado que funcionaba perfectamente. La ubicación era excelente: estaba al lado del metro y justo enfrente de una cafetería increíble. ¡Lo recomiendo muchísimo!

Todo estaba bien

As seen by the photos the place is quite nice and has nice fixtures. It’s quite reasonably priced given the quality of the room. Some things that decrease my rating: -Location: it’s located on a busy intersection so there is a lot of noise from traffic and sometimes the bar/ restaurant downstairs. The windows do nothing to mitigate the noise. Also, you probably know this but it takes about 20-25mins to get to a lot of the sights from this location. So isn’t trivial to pop back to if you are out sightseeing. -Appliances: given that it has a fridge and coffee machine it would have been useful to include a kettle or microwave and some basic cutlery to make eating some small meals here easier. -There is a small light that stays on all night.
