Phoenicia Lodge

We came with our 10 lb havapoodle, therefore we we booked the pet friendly cabana. The cabana we stayed at was spotless; squeaky clean. The beds were unbelievable comfortable and the sheets were snow white and crispy. We also got a separate sheet for the dog, to sleep on the sofa, two collapsible doggie containers and a couple of dog biscuits, for which, our pooch was extremely happy and grateful :)) Sandra, the host is miss personality. Very nice, and very accommodating. Nice conversations with her. The environment was pleasant and quiet. Cannot recommended enough

We had a wonderful stay at Phoenicia Lodge. We stayed for two nights and went hiking in the surrounding area. The lodge is in a great location—ideal if you have a car (we didn’t, but we managed just fine). Sandra was a huge help, and the welcome was fantastic. She always gave great advice and really takes good care of her guests. I highly recommend Phoenicia Lodge.

This property is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the grounds of the place. A hidden trove with beautiful cabins lush greenery all-around. The river is hidden behind the cabins so you can fly fish. We did the train car rails, through the forest, and it was so much fun.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel, especially in the big suite we booked. The atmosphere was so cozy and warm, making it perfect for a few rainy days we spent there. A huge plus was the wide selection of DVDs and videos they offered—so many options, perfect for the times when Wi-Fi was a bit slow. The hotel does have Wi-Fi, but it’s just not as fast for streaming. Still, the suite was beautiful and relaxing, and though we couldn’t use the fire pits because of the rain, I imagine they’d be fantastic on a sunny day. Highly recommend this place!
