Fairly clean in a safe, quiet area. That said, this is a bare bones property so don't expect that much if you're staying here. We were grateful because it was cheap and met our needs. Things I would change:1. The bed was like sleeping on a rock. I actually dont mind firm beds, but the box spring they put the mattress pad on was so bad I actually felt the springs when i slept on my side.2. Despite staying here when it was warm and lovely outside, the basement remained cold - i would not book here during winter time.
