We stayed in the Lager House loft with our two sets of twins, ages seven and nine. The loft was as described, outside of a detail or two. Those inconsistent details didn’t affect the trip, so it doesn’t affect our scores. Here’s the deal: it’s not exactly the best place to take kids. We knew this, so we were prepared. It is also not the best spot for people looking for a normal hotel stay. During our one-night visit, the Corktown Music Festival was happening. You will definitely hear the bands, if they are playing in the bar area. Given that, I'm happy to report my kids slept like royalty.Seriously, a really cool spot for open and adventurous folks. Will keep this spot in our rolodex of places to stay when we're on staycation in the city.

The place is perfectly located (yes, it's over a bar so if you want to sleep early this is not for you). The apartment is really cool and has a lot of potential, however when we got there the place was clearly still the same way the prior guests left it so that was gross. The place was not cleaned prior to us arriving and the beds were not made. We got in touch with the property manager who was quick to send someone to change the bedding, however at the end of the day the place was not cleaned.
