Cannot say enough positives about this property. We came with three grandchildren and celebrated their mother‘s 42nd birthday and grandmother‘s 80th birthday. We all had an incredibly wonderful time here. There were lots of toys for the kids to play with. There were lots of places near the property for the kids to go hiking with their dad. We went into Woodstock spa. We also use the hot tub at the house which was wonderful. And we had a chef come to cook a meal for us. We will definitely be back.

What an incredible house! We were expecting an old farmhouse, but what we found really blew away our expectations. The Homestead is meticulously maintained, thoughtfully, appointed, and lovingly filled with books, antiques, art, and comfortable places to lounge and hang out. There’s a lot to discover as you wander through the different sitting areas and nooks. The bedrooms are comfortable, the showers are great. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. One of my favorite moments was doing yoga on the mat provided as I gazed out on the grazing cows. Communication with the hosts was terrific, they checked in and were extremely helpful about how things in the house worked as well as where to get groceries and where to grab a good dinner. Awesome place for a family, a couple families vacationing together or a group of friends. Less than 10 minutes and you’re in downtown Woodstock. Would highly recommend and would stay again!
