Located right on the dike, this beautiful vacation home has been lovingly restored by its owners in a style that is both modern and traditional. The charm of the thatched-roof house, combined with the design-oriented, high-quality furnishings, promises a truly special stay.
The spacious grounds are just a 5-minute drive or a 10-minute bike ride from the popular wide sandy beach of Sankt Peter-Ording. The farmstead’s former family home is welcoming, bright, and has a cheerful atmosphere. This exceptionally beautiful apartment is spacious and comfortably accommodates 4 people. It features a generous south-facing terrace with high-quality garden furniture. Beach chairs and lounge chairs are also available for guests in the garden. If desired, guests can also sit under the open thatched roof in the large “Lohdiele”—located in the center of the house and available to all guests—to eat or meet with friends.
Unfortunately, barbecuing is not permitted there due to the risk of flying sparks.
Surrounded by nature yet very close to the popular vacation destination of Sankt Peter-Ording, The Old Barn is ideally situated not only for beach trips—with or without a dog—and kiteboarding adventures, but also for beautiful bike rides across the Eiderstedt Peninsula or excursions to places like Husum or Friedrichstadt.
