I thought there would be more privacy there but the owners added another apartment for rent 4 months ago so I had neighbors. They didn't restrict me in any way but I just didn't expect it

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve au sein de Venu house. La cuisine tout équipée nous a permis de nous faire de délicieux jus frais, nous étions entourés de nature, et à quelques mètres d’une plage magnifique et cachée. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison, nous aurions aimé ne plus repartir… Merci pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse. Tout était parfait. A bientôt

Endroit idyllique au calme à 2 pas d’une plage de cocotiers tranquille, famille d’accueil aux petits soins et toujours souriante, le bungalow est tout neuf.

Its nature. Its peace. The short path that you need to walk to arrive to an almost secret beach. The beautiful heart of the family that owns the place. I found a home here. Its full kitchen. I literally cooked here every day. The tree on top of the balcony has always peaceful monkeys and squirrels. The monkeys always look at me when I’m practicing yoga. I booked it for 15 days and ended up extending for 30 extra days (45 days total). All neighbors are local. Non of them speaks English but we used google translate. Wonderful experience.

If you work online, you need to use your phone internet. The only company with reliable signal and good speed is Dialog. It’s like 3000 LKR for 100 Gb. It cheaper for less data. It’s an extra hassle but way worth it for the magic of this place.
