The apartment was very clean

Beautiful deco, clean and had all the basic amenities. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet.
The property has a solar geyser, but it doesn’t make sense having such a geyser in Swakop especially when the weather is most of the time cloudy and overcast. It was highly inconvenient taking cold showers in the mornings as the geyser only warms up during the day when its sunny. Worse the showers are doorless or open plan which left the bathroom floors wet and flooded. The shower drain was blocked the first day but that was easily sorted out. The wifi is also extremely slow.
