Truly enjoyed everything about this property. The sunset views from the fire pit, the hot tub and all of the amenities. The house was a perfect size for our two families (4 adults and 5 kids)!

Gary is a fantastic host and has a wonderful and very cool home. All the details are buttoned up, including very comfortable mattresses in every room. Overall, the home was spotless and extremely clean!

All were impressed with the condition, amenities and view.

We stayed at the Banner Elk Black Lodge and I cannot recommend it enough! I had high expectations after seeing the listing, and every single one was exceeded. The photos truly don’t do this place justice—it’s even more stunning in person. The location is perfect, with easy access to Banner Elk’s charming attractions, nearby hiking, skiing, and beautiful local vineyards. After just a few days here, I left feeling completely relaxed. I traveled with my spouse and our two young children, and the lodge was ideal for a family trip—safe, comfortable, and wonderfully appointed. It’s also incredibly spacious, so next time I plan to come back with our extended family to enjoy it all together. If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain getaway with great proximity to everything Banner Elk has to offer, this is the place!
