Welcome to the Point 21, where luxury, style and Pura Vida come together for the perfect vacation home in Playa Avellanas! Unit 21 is a rare find in that it includes a separate detached apartment providing capacity for larger groups. The Point includes 24/7 security, pool, bbq; is walking distance to restaurants and located near one of the best surfing beaches in Costa Rica. The Point is a new (2021) gated community in Playa Avellanas and this house is in a small sub-community of 8 houses located around a central pool. The home features a modern architecture with an open layout. The floor to ceiling windows and high ceilings provide an exceptionally bright and airy feel. Exotic tropical gardens and palms run throughout the community and the pool is just steps away from the door. Howler Monkeys can be heard in the background most evenings and Scarlet Macaws visit frequently.
You will have access to the entire house and detached apartment as well as the common areas (pool, bbq)
Steve can be reached through the airbnb app or by cell phone during the hours of 8:00AM to 8:00PM (CR time). For after hours onsite emergencies, please contact the front gate security staff - available 24/7. For all medical emergencies, call 911.
Water and power outages are common in Costa Rica. While we hope we don`t have any outages during your stay, please understand that these outages are out of our control and often happen without warning.

The property was very attractive, comfortable and well stocked. We appreciated the pool which was right in front of the home, as well as the beach towels, beach chairs and cooler, all of which came in handy for days spent at the beach. The house is in a gated community with 24 hour security so we felt very comfortable leaving both day and night. Our host, Steve, and concierge, Trixie, were both very responsive, and always immediately responded to our messages. We enjoyed a couple of good restaurants in the immediate area and the mini market across the street from the property was handy. Overall, we highly recommend this property. It really contributed to our fun stay in Costa Rica!

The property was a 5 - 10 min drive to Avellanas Beach that is beautiful plus enjoyed eating at Lola’s located right on the beach. The house was well equipped with a modern kitchen, all the amenities, including coffee, spices oils, etc. facilitating meal preparation. The rooms were very nice as were the seating areas outside. We enjoyed the pool in the evenings and pretty much had it to ourselves. We had other friends staying at a more expensive property who were disappointed to find light fixtures not working and no coffee in the cupboards. Our family generally made lunch & breakfast at the house and had dinner out. Quite a few good quality restaurants within 10 minutes of our location.I’m sure we will be back again!!Cook Family
