Perfection at Sunrise Agonda

A perfect stay at Agonda Sunrise. The charming owner contacted me on WhatsApp and arranged an early morning pickup from the airport. The driver was there with a name card and took me to the property and had the key to let me in. It was immaculately clean with new sheets, towels and toiletries. This was one of my easiest ever arrivals in India. Agonda Sunrise is bright and fresh. The fan and AC are effective but silent. I actually never really needed either as the room itself was so naturally cool. The balcony overlooks the Agonda beach road and it was pleasant to sit outside and watch the world go by. I had no issues with noise at all and slept extremely well on the comfy bed every night. It was lovely being bathed in the morning sunlight as I woke. I assume this is why it is named Agonda sunrise! The bathroom was brand new with an excellent heater and vanity mirror. Hot water was ample and quick to arrive. There was a wardrobe, writing desk and two bedside tables. The owner was installing a drying rack outside and a communal fridge as I was leaving. I think these additions will elevate the property further. Cleaning was offered upon request. Could not recommend more highly. Considering the competitive price you would be hard pushed to find anywhere in Agonda quite as good. I would have stayed another two weeks if it was available and look forward to booking again for a return trip.

No fridge. But the owner will be adding this shortly. There was nothing I didn’t like.

Perfect place to stay in an amazing town

It was extremely clean, the bed was so comfortable, excellent sound proofing doors and it was so nice to have a balcony. It was a short walk to the beach. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. We would 100% recommend this place. Staff were also so friendly and couldn’t have done any more for us.
