Fantastic helpful owners / property was very good value and taxi to and from entrance to Wangxian valley was appreciated

The location was great!

There were no elevators, but that was okay because the staff had no hesitation in helping us carry our bags!

Free shuttle to the entrance of the valley is great. Room was good, had a good size and was very clean. The restaurant across the street has amazing food and very good value for money. Staff and owners were really friendly I was greeted with fresh fruit after check-in. Freshly made breakfast in the morning is great as well. Value for money at the hotel is great in general.

The official driver of the hotel was not good, on my way back to the train station he fell asleep behind the wheel and it was super unsafe. I contacted the hotel and they told me they will not work with him again. The owners / guests are smoking in the living room next to reception (also where breakfast is served) which you can smell in the hallway but not in the room. Sadly the doors to the hallway and the other rooms are not soundproof; I wasn't able to sleep much during the second night due to other guests being loud the whole night, while arguing in the hallway, slamming doors and watching TV on overdrive. The beds are also really hard, but this is a personal preference.

Meilian was awesome who treated us with much kindness and respect. And the location was very desirable.
