O tym ten wynajem wakacyjny
THE WRIGHT HOUSE is your Apostle Island sanctuary. 18 private secluded acres just 1.5 miles from Bayfield, WI. Come here to slow everything down and focus on what matters. Perfect for small groups, bridal wedding parties, and couples or friends looking to escape for the weekend. Many guests choose to stay for a week.
The Wright House is a private home situated on a bluff overlooking a forested valley with breathtaking views overlooking 12 of Lake Superior’s Apostle Islands. You can also see as far as three states, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
THE SPACE
The Wright House property has an instantly calming effect as soon as you drive up the winding driveway towards the house located in a clearing on the brow of the bluff. The endlessly changing panoramic skyline over Lake Superior and the Islands never ceases to enchant you.
Inspired by the architect Frank Lloyd Wright, the designer of this home has curated a layout with every window framing the estate grounds, with lake views visible from almost every room. A signature wall of glass spanning three levels, and facing the Lake allows you to feel connected to the natural world, along with providing a sense of possibility and freedom as you gaze out over land and sky and the occasional soaring eagle.
Guest access
You’ll have access to the upper three levels of the house, yard, grounds and all decks. The ground level apartment and garage are private for the caretakers who are there to maintain the extensive grounds on the property. The apartment has its own private entrance which is completely separate from the main house. You may occasionally see the caretakers as they split their time between the apartment and another residence. They are always very respectful of the guest spaces and tend to keep to themselves so you may not see them at all. You should feel free to enjoy the Wright House and make it your home during your stay.
Here there is room to breathe. Space to reset and reconnect.

The View is 10/10. Full Stop. The Wright House earns a perfect ten for one reason above all else: the most incredible view of Lake Superior I have ever seen in a vacation rental. The property itself is quite lovely, but that view is the reason to book — and it will not disappoint. The house feels genuinely secluded. You feel like you are staying in nature, not just near it. Watching the sunrise over Lake Superior with a morning coffee while looking out over the water is an experience that simply cannot be matched.A few layout details to consider before booking:- Due to large windows highlighting the amazing views, the house gets warm even with the a/c on. If you prefer to sleep cooler, you may want to bring a fan. - This property works beautifully for a girls' trip, guys' trip, family vacation, or three couples comfortable sharing bathrooms and common space. Knowing the layout in advance helps with room assignments.- The main level has one large bedroom with an ensuite 3/4 bathroom and a sitting room with direct lake views. - The second level has three bedrooms plus a sitting room facing the lake, but only one shared full bathroom, accessible directly from two of the three bedrooms. Guests in the third bedroom must either walk through an adjoining room or use the main level bathroom. - The third level offers stunning views and a 1/2 bath, but only two single beds — less practical for couples.Plan room assignments with the bathroom logistics in mind.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The view from the house is gorgeous! The kitchen had plenty of space for our entire group to hang out and cook. Plus lots of little spots to sneak away to read or just enjoy the view. The biggest issue we encountered was the walkway into the property. My parents are in their 80’s and they struggled with the uneven stone steps. A railing would be very helpful. Otherwise we loved our stay. Thanks!
