Opinie

7 / 10

Staff lovely, good location for city and SETU arena but extortionate cost for student accommodation.

The lady on the desk was welcoming, helpful and a wonderful ambassador for the accommodation. Staff during the stay also were helpful and polite.

The cost is excessive for student accommodation.

Hot Water, for showering? Who would possibly want that?

The layout was fine and the individual rooms were private.

The rooms were pretty dirty. The floors were sticky and while the linen was clean it seemed like the surfaces had been hastily wiped and the floor unmoped. This paled in how there was no hot water at all. On arriving to check in around 1830 we were frustrated to find there was no hot water to shower in, and it could take more than an hour to have the water system heated enough for us to have a hot shower. We were informed that this would not be an issue in the morning however as the system was set to automatically come on in the early morning and we would have full hot water before we left. This was a lie. There was no hot water. The system was all set up. It just did not heat any of the water. So for 200 euro we stayed in a dirty flat, a 15 euro taxi ride out of town with no hot water. To say we were furious would be an understatement. Nothing but paltry apologies from the poor student at the front desk.

Basic and fine for one night only (bring a pillow)

Staff were very helpful, lady with auburn hair was lovely.

TV didn’t work. Each bed has one very thin pillow. It had been given a basic clean as opposed to a thorough one. Didn’t have enough basic crockery.

Friendly & helpful staff. It's basic student accommodation but has everything you need. Free parking just outside.

TV didn't work. Very noisy seagulls 24/7 (but you can't blame SETU for that!!)
