Seafarers Rest, Whitby

The location was a short walk to everything Beds were clean and comfortable

A couple of seats in the room would have been nice although the space is limited so i appreciate that And an on suite,.we did have a private bathroom on rhe corridor but not great for a pyjama dash late/early

Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed and pillows were nice and comfortable with extra pillows and a blanket if needed. Plenty of storage space. Ideal location for visiting Whirby with town amd seafront 5 minutes walk. Parking directly outside with permits given in the room.

Nothing I particularly disliked, but for feedback: 3 flights of stairs wasnt expected but was ok once we got all the bags in. Lacked a fridge and toaster.

Brilliant location, a short walk from the front and about a 10 minute walk to town. The view from the room was lovely, over the rooftops and at the Abbey. Plenty of tea and coffee on arrival with proper mugs, not the tiny cups which are pointless. Great communication from the Agent with clear information on gaining access. Nice shower, clean bathroom and lovely fluffy towels. Dog friendly which is an absolute bonus. Smart TV in the room in a great location (unlike some hotels where you can't see it from the bed)

I have only two complaints, the bed frame stuck out so we are left with bruised shins from walking around it. The room was far too hot even with the Aircon unit supplied..... The radiator did not switch off and because of safety the window only opened about 2 inches

The room was ok and the view of the abbey, it was clean and had good tra n coffe etc

The fact the bathroon and toiket was down a flight of stairs, if it hadnt of been for the cleaners on sight who was lovely we wouldnt of been able to get in as we had no instructions that no one was there to greet us, even though i had asked if we could arrive earlier and was told it was fine the room wasnt ready. Also it said free wifi couldnt find the code. I would of thought that if the owners couldnt be in site then some instructions would be left in the room etc like a welcome pack.
