If you are looking for something off the beaten path and relaxing then this is your place! You will need and SUV or truck to get there but it's worth it. The property is gorgeous and peaceful, from no one being around and the sound of the creek. I enjoyed sitting in the swing reading a book while my husband grilled dinner. If you want you can access the creek as well to cool off. The inside of the house is very clean, simple and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware whether you are cooking dinner or baking. There are two twin beds in the loft however we did not use those, but the king bed down stairs was extremely comfortable. They provided plenty of towels and amenities. Communication was quick and great leading up to our stay as well as when we were there if we needed. The only two things I would adjust (but does not effect that we will be back) is label the light switches, it was very hard to find out what went to what. Also it was very hot inside when we got there and took most of the evening to cool down. Maybe the day of set the thermostat to 75 so it's a little cooler when guests arrive. Over all we LOVED our stay and will be back for sure!

We had a great stay at this cabin! It was very clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The only downside was the road getting there was a little rough, but once we arrived it was absolutely worth it. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful property on the Etowah River. It was the perfect combination of peaceful seclusion and easy access to all the beauty Dahlonega has to offer.We spent our days hiking to several local waterfalls and our evenings relaxing by the riverside fire pit. The views were gorgeous, the sounds of the river were incredibly relaxing, and the entire property felt peaceful and private.The home was spotless, well stocked, and had everything we needed. The gourmet kitchen was wonderful to cook in, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable after a day of exploring.If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic getaway with beautiful scenery and all the comforts of home, this is it. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to coming back.

The cabin itself was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, and the property manager was responsive and helpful.However, access to the property was challenging and should be clearly disclosed. The cabin is about 8 minutes off the main road down a narrow, steep, clay road with no traction. It becomes very slick when wet and is not suitable for standard vehicles—we arrived in a Ford Mustang and had difficulty. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended for safety.There were limited signs about using 4WD, but they were only visible on the way out, not on the way in.Also, the WiFi was not working during our stay, and there is no cell service in the area, which made communication difficult and could be a safety concern.Overall, a great cabin, but be prepared: you’ll need a 4-wheel drive vehicle and should expect little to no connectivity.
